BriqFlow.

This policy explains how BriqFlow Studio Ltd (“we”, “BriqFlow”) collects and uses information when you visit our website, send us an enquiry or commission a piece of furniture from us. We’re registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14823691) and our office is at 22 Marsden Quay, London EC2N 4AY.

1. What we collect

Most people who interact with us share only a small amount of information — usually a name, an email address, sometimes a phone number, and a description of the room or project they’re considering. We collect:

  • Enquiry details — name, email, phone (optional), and the message you write in our contact form.
  • Site visit data — basic technical information your browser sends, such as approximate location, device type and the pages you viewed. This is only kept in aggregate.
  • Commission information — floor plans, photographs, measurements and any preferences you share with us during a project.
  • Correspondence — the emails, texts and letters we exchange while planning or building a piece for you.

2. Why we hold this information

We use what you give us to do the job you’ve hired us for, or to reply to a question. Specifically:

  • To answer your enquiry and arrange a site visit or workshop call.
  • To prepare drawings, quotes and material samples specific to your room.
  • To manufacture, install and aftercare your commissioned pieces.
  • To keep records HMRC and our insurers expect us to keep, for as long as the law requires.
  • To occasionally send you a workshop note or invitation, if you’ve asked us to.

3. Lawful basis

We rely on three of the lawful bases set out in UK GDPR. Contract for everything to do with delivering a commission. Legitimate interest for replying to enquiries and keeping client records. Consent for any optional marketing emails or workshop invitations — never opt-out, always opt-in.

4. Who sees your data

The studio team in London. Our installer team when we deliver a piece. The accounting firm that files our books. That is the full list. We do not sell, rent or share data with marketing networks. Where we use third-party tools (email, project management, file storage), those providers are contracted under UK GDPR-aligned terms.

5. How long we keep things

Project files (drawings, photographs of the build, finishing notes) are kept for ten years — long enough to support warranty, repair and insurance queries. Email correspondence is archived for seven years. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: tell you what data we hold about you, correct anything that’s wrong, delete records that we no longer need, hand over a copy of what we hold, or stop using your data for marketing. Email [email protected] with the subject line “Data request” and we’ll respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We use a single first-party preference cookie to remember your cookie choice. We don’t use behavioural advertising cookies. Full detail in our Cookie Policy.

8. Complaints

If you feel we’ve mishandled your data, please write to us first — it’s usually quicker. If you’re still unhappy, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this page, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes are also flagged in our next workshop newsletter.
