Oak kitchen island with brass detailing and marble countertop

Frame-and-panel, shaker, slab. All the same care underneath.

Whether you want the chunky shadow lines of a traditional in-frame kitchen or the quiet planes of a slab door, the structure underneath is the same: hardwood face frames, dovetailed drawers, soft-close runners on every drawer including the wide pan ones, and adjustable solid feet so we can level on uneven Victorian floors.

Three kitchens, three very different briefs.

Oak island kitchen, Highgate

Highgate Oak Island

Three-metre island clad in quartersawn oak with a Carrara overhang. Hidden charging drawer and a butler’s sink the size of a small bath.

Open-plan walnut kitchen-diner

Stoke Newington Walnut Diner

Shaker fronts in deep walnut, transitioning into a built-in dining banquette. Brass pulls hand-cast in Bethnal Green.

Boot-room kitchen storage in painted ash

Wandsworth Painted Boot-Room

Painted ash carcases over terracotta tile, with a deep coat run and dog-bowl drawer. The kind of utility you actually want to use.

Kitchens, demystified.

Can you work with my existing appliances?
Yes — we cabinet around any reasonable appliance. We’ll ask for the model numbers early so the panels and ventilation can be planned correctly.
Do you handle worktops, splashbacks and tiling?
We project-manage the worktop fabricator, who templates after our cabinetry is installed. Tiling and plumbing we coordinate but don’t self-perform — we work alongside trusted trades you can also hire directly.
How disruptive is the install?
Most kitchens fit in 4–6 working days. Worktop templating adds another week before stone arrives. We sheet floors, hoover daily and remove old units if needed.
What about handles and ironmongery?
You can choose from our standard collection (cast brass, leather, machined stainless) or specify your own. We’ll fit anything you can post us.
Can you replace just a few doors of an existing kitchen?
Honestly, rarely. The carcases are usually the part that’s tired. We can quote for door-only replacement but we’ll always tell you when a full rebuild is the better long-term spend.
